Here in New England iced coffee (and iced tea) are year-round drinks, whether it is 85 degrees or 8 degrees, we're walking around with our iced coffee. But that presents some problems. In the summer the drinks sweat and leave puddles in our cup holders, on our desks, and makes our hands wet. And in the winter, our hands are already freezing, and holding an iced drink makes it even worse!
Enter the Coffee Cup Cozy (not only named after the drink, but an actual lake here in New England…don't you just love it when things work out like that?). This cozy will stretch to fit your large iced regular or if you aren't quite that dedicated will still fit your smaller more reasonably sized iced coffee (or tea).

The Yarn
This pattern uses Bernat Maker yarn, formerly known as Bernat Maker Home Dec. This is a bulky (Category 5) tubular yarn with a cotton shell and a nylon filling. It is soft, machine washable, and comes in 17 beautiful colors.
The cozies that are pictured were made in Hyacinth & Cream.
There aren't many other yarns out there like Bernat Maker, so if you choose a different option you are going to want to make sure to match gauge.
Some options that might work:
Loops & Threads Cuddle Craft Tube yarn
Premier Cotton Fair Bulky
Lion Brand Lazy Days, but this is a Category 4 Worsted Weight yarn, so you will definitely need to check gauge.
